This innovative Mangomisu recipe combines the essence of Italian cuisine with the tropical flavors of fresh Alphonso mangoes. To prepare Mangomisu, begin by creating a flavorful coffee syrup using espresso powder, sugar, and water, with an optional splash of Kahlua for a subtle kick. The base cream is made by cooking egg yolks and sugar over a double boiler until thick, then folding them into a mixture of mascarpone cheese and fresh mango pulp. Dip the ladyfingers lightly in the coffee syrup and layer them with the mascarpone-mango cream in a mold. Enhance each layer with thin slices of Alphonso mangoes. Chill the dessert for two hours before serving it with a dusting of cocoa powder and a garnish of seasonal mango slices.
