Mango Shahi Tukda Recipe: A Fruity Twist to Traditional Shahi Tukda

Shahi Tukda is a popular Mughlai dessert made with crispy fried bread soaked in rich, sweetened milk (rabri) and topped with dry fruits. This version adds a delicious mango twist, combining the sweetness of mango puree with the classic flavors of this royal delicacy.

  • 2 slices of bread

  2. Prepare the Mango Rabri: In a pan, mix sugar and water, allowing it to thicken. Once it reaches a syrup-like consistency, add mango puree and stir well. Let it cool.
  3. Assemble the Dessert: Arrange the fried bread slices on a serving plate and generously pour the mango-infused syrup over them.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped dry fruits and serve warm or chilled.
