Date:

Motorola has expanded its Edge smartphone lineup with the introduction of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+. The newly launched device arrives with upgraded camera capabilities compared to the standard Motorola Edge 70 Fusion while keeping several core hardware features the same.

The smartphone introduces a triple rear camera configuration which is one of the major upgrades over the regular Fusion variant. The camera system is led by a 50 megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor designed to capture detailed images with optical image stabilisation and improved low light performance. Alongside the primary sensor the device includes a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens offering a 122 degree field of view as well as a 10 megapixel telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom.

On the front the device carries a powerful 50 megapixel selfie camera capable of recording high quality 4K video which makes it suitable for content creators and video calls.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ features a large 6.8 inch Super HD AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen also supports HDR10 Plus which enhances colour contrast and brightness for a better viewing experience while watching videos or playing games.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. The handset comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI interface.

Battery performance is another highlight of the new smartphone. It houses a large 5200mAh battery supported by 68W TurboPower fast charging technology allowing users to recharge the device quickly.

The smartphone also offers several connectivity options including 5G 4G LTE Bluetooth 6.0 NFC Wi Fi 6E GPS and USB Type C. It supports dual SIM functionality through Nano SIM and eSIM.

For durability the device includes IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance against water and dust. It also features a glass fibre reinforced polymer back panel along with an in display fingerprint scanner and facial recognition security.

The handset is currently available in Brazil with a starting price of approximately BRL 2969 which converts to around Rs 52900. Buyers can choose between Pantone Blue Surf and Pantone Orient Blue colour variants.
