Starz has officially renewed Outlander: Blood of My Blood for a second season, demonstrating strong confidence in the series even before its first episode airs. Blood of My Blood explores the deep-rooted origins of the iconic Outlander characters through two parallel love stories. One storyline is set in 18th-century Scotland, focusing on Ellen MacKenzie (played by Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy)—the future parents of Outlander‘s lead Jamie Fraser (portrayed in the original by Sam Heughan). The second storyline unfolds in World War I-era Britain, chronicling the romance of Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), who would go on to become the parents of Claire Randall (played by Caitríona Balfe in the main series).
