Samsung has officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, expanding its popular A-series lineup in India. Both devices arrive with premium features including large AMOLED displays, triple rear cameras, and long-lasting batteries, making them strong contenders in the competitive smartphone market.
The Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring an immersive viewing and scrolling experience. The screens are also enhanced with Vision Booster technology for better outdoor visibility.
Running on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, Samsung is promising an impressive six generations of Android updates along with extended security support, making these devices future-ready. While the company has not officially confirmed the processors, reports suggest that the Galaxy A57 5G may be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, while the Galaxy A37 5G could feature the Exynos 1480 processor. Both models offer up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
In terms of photography, both smartphones sport a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The Galaxy A57 5G includes a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera, while the Galaxy A37 5G offers an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens alongside a 5-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, both devices come equipped with a 12-megapixel selfie camera with AI-powered features such as object eraser, best face, and smart editing tools.
The devices also integrate AI capabilities including voice transcription, AI select, and Circle to Search, enhancing productivity and user convenience. Video editing is supported with features like Auto Trim for quick content creation.
Both smartphones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery, claimed to deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. They also support Super Fast Charging 2.0, enabling rapid charging in a short time.
In India, the Galaxy A57 5G starts at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the higher 12GB RAM version is priced at Rs 62,499. The Galaxy A37 5G starts at Rs 41,999, with higher storage variants priced accordingly. The devices are available for pre-order with sales beginning in early April.
Both models feature IP68 water and dust resistance and include Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced security, offering a reliable and durable smartphone experience.
