A long-awaited follow-up to the iconic sci-fi parody Spaceballs is officially on the way, with Amazon MGM Studios announcing a theatrical release scheduled for April 23, 2027. The new film will revive the beloved franchise that first hit screens in 1987 under the direction of comedy legend Mel Brooks.
Fans of the original will be pleased to see several familiar faces returning, including Mel Brooks, Rick Moranis, Daphne Zuniga, Bill Pullman and George Wyner.
