Tecno has officially expanded its Pova lineup in India with the launch of the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, a feature-packed smartphone aimed at users who want power performance and premium display technology at a competitive price point. The new model succeeds the Pova Curve 5G launched last year and brings notable upgrades across display battery and software.
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G features a large 6.78-inch full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, making it one of the brightest screens in its segment. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and offers an immersive viewing experience with a high screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Tecno also allows virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB using unused storage, ensuring smoother multitasking and gaming performance. The device runs on HiOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Photography duties are handled by a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a secondary sensor, while the front houses a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Despite packing a huge battery the phone maintains a slim profile and lightweight design.
One of the biggest highlights is its massive 8000mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging and ships with a fast charger in the box. Tecno claims impressive endurance figures including extended video playback music streaming and calling time on a single charge.
In India the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G is priced starting at Rs 27999 for the 8GB 128GB variant while the 256GB model costs Rs 29999. The smartphone will go on sale from February 20 via Flipkart and will be available in Storm Titanium Melting Silver and Mystic Purple colour options. Launch offers include bank discounts of up to Rs 3000.
