The Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 smartphones, recently launched in China with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, have now appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, signaling an imminent launch in India. Following their listing on the UAE’s TDRA certification site, this development suggests that Vivo is preparing to introduce the X300 series to the Indian market in the coming weeks.
According to a post on X by Anvin (@ZionsAnvin), the Vivo X300 Pro (model V2514) and Vivo X300 (model V2515) have been officially listed on BIS. While the Indian variants are expected to mirror the Chinese models closely, some changes such as battery capacity adjustments may be made for the Indian audience, following a trend seen with global releases by Chinese OEMs.
The Vivo X300 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Circular Polarisation 2.0. It features a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, supported by V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips. The front camera is a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor. The device packs a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68-rated dust and water protection.
The standard Vivo X300 comes with a 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED display and a 6,040mAh battery with similar charging capabilities. It also features a 200MP Samsung HPB main OIS sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto lens, along with the same 50MP front camera. Both devices support dual speakers, Action Button, signal amplifier chip, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connectivity, making them among the most advanced smartphones in Vivo’s lineup.
With the BIS listing now live, the Indian launch of the Vivo X300 series appears imminent, and tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for an official announcement from the company.
