About The Conjuring: Last Rites
The final film in the saga, The Conjuring: Last Rites, is scheduled for release on September 5, 2025. Directed by Michael Chaves, who also helmed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and The Nun II, the movie once again brings back Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga alongside Mia Tomlinson and Ben Hardy.
The story is inspired by the Smurl haunting, a chilling real-life case in Pennsylvania between 1974 and 1989 where Jack and Janet Smurl claimed a demon plagued their home. Their story even inspired a 1991 TV movie The Haunting. With James Wan and Peter Safran producing, the final chapter promises to deliver the ultimate conclusion to this legendary horror series.
