Zendaya Smiles and Blushes as Fans Call Her ‘Mrs Holland’ at Hollywood Event

Date:

Hollywood star Zendaya had a sweet and slightly embarrassing moment when fans referred to her as “Mrs Holland” during a recent red carpet appearance. The actor attended the 19th annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards held in Los Angeles on March 12 where the lighthearted interaction quickly caught attention online.

In a video that has circulated widely on social media Zendaya can be seen posing for photos on the red carpet. While greeting fans someone called out “Mrs Holland” referencing her marriage to Tom Holland. The comment made the actress smile widely and blush as she tried to stay composed while cameras were rolling.

As the playful moment continued fans nearby could be heard cheering and saying “That’s a wife” which made Zendaya laugh even more before she walked away from the carpet. The adorable interaction has since become popular online with fans sharing the clip and commenting on the actress’s reaction.

Many fans praised the couple for keeping their relationship and wedding private. Their marriage was quietly confirmed earlier this year when Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach revealed in an interview that the wedding had already taken place.

Speculation about the marriage grew when Zendaya appeared at Paris Fashion Week wearing a gold band on her finger which fans believed was a wedding ring.

The love story between Zendaya and Tom Holland began when they starred together in the Spider-Man Homecoming film series produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. Zendaya played MJ while Holland portrayed Peter Parker also known as Spider Man.

The two later appeared together in Spider-Man Far From Home and Spider-Man No Way Home which strengthened both their on screen partnership and real life relationship.

Reports previously revealed that the couple got engaged around the end of 2024 when Tom proposed during the holiday season. Zendaya was first seen wearing her diamond engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards in 2025.

Fans can expect to see the pair reunite again on screen in upcoming projects including Spider-Man Brand New Day and The Odyssey.
