The Realme GT 8 Pro is officially gearing up for its India debut on November 20, and the company has confirmed key camera details ahead of launch. The upcoming flagship smartphone will put a strong emphasis on photography, debuting the Ricoh GR Camera System, a segment-first 200MP Ultra Clarity telephoto lens, and enhanced professional-grade video features designed for content creators.
The Ricoh GR-inspired system brings a 50MP Anti-Glare primary sensor built to Ricoh’s optical standards, paired with a 7P lens and five-layer anti-reflective coating to minimise glare and ghosting. A dedicated Ricoh GR Mode offers 28mm and 40mm focal lengths, five creative colour profiles including Positive, Negative, High-Contrast B&W, Standard, and Monotone, along with a signature shutter sound and optional Ricoh-style watermark for an authentic shooting experience.
The Realme GT 8 Pro also debuts a 200MP telephoto sensor with a large 1/1.56-inch sensor, supporting 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 12x hybrid zoom. The setup is completed with a 50MP ultra-wide camera offering a 116-degree field of view and an f/2.0 aperture, ensuring high-quality results across varied lighting conditions.
For video, Realme confirms 4K 120fps Dolby Vision, 4K 120fps 10-bit Log, and 8K 30fps recording, providing cinematic-grade footage straight from the device. Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with a dedicated Hyper Vision+ AI imaging chip and Android 16-based Realme UI 7. The device features a flat 2K AMOLED display, a 7,000mAh battery, and 120W wired fast charging for seamless all-day use.
The Realme GT 8 Pro will also feature a detachable and swappable rear camera design, similar to its Chinese counterpart, and is expected to arrive in multiple premium finishes, including a special Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition. With these camera and performance upgrades, the GT 8 Pro is positioned as Realme’s most advanced flagship yet for the Indian market.
