Poco has officially announced the launch of its upcoming C series smartphones in India, confirming that the new Poco C81 and Poco C81x will debut on April 23, 2026 at 12 PM IST. The devices will be available for purchase through Flipkart, where a dedicated launch page has already gone live revealing key details.
The upcoming smartphones are expected to cater to budget-conscious users while offering strong battery performance and essential features. The Poco C81 is confirmed to feature a large 6300mAh battery, while the Poco C81x will include a 5200mAh battery. Both models will support 15W wired charging as well as 7.5W reverse charging, allowing users to power other devices when needed.
In terms of usage, the Poco C81 is expected to deliver over 23 hours of video streaming and more than four days of music playback. Meanwhile, the Poco C81x is said to provide over 15 hours of video playback and nearly four days of audio usage. Both devices will support 4G LTE connectivity.
From a design perspective, the Poco C81 will come with a dual-tone rear finish and a pill-shaped camera module housing a dual camera setup led by a 13 megapixel primary sensor. It will feature a flat frame with side-mounted buttons for power and volume control.
On the other hand, the Poco C81x will adopt a simpler single-tone rear design with a similar camera layout but will include only one active camera sensor paired with an LED flash. Both devices share a similar build style but differ slightly in aesthetics and camera configuration.
Color options revealed so far suggest that the Poco C81 will be available in a blue variant, while the Poco C81x will launch in a black color option. More details including pricing and chipset specifications are expected to be announced during the official launch event.
