Although he did not mention Kelsea Ballerini by name, Stokes’ messages strongly hinted at unresolved tension. In one story, the Outer Banks actor wrote that he had been “blocked” and insisted he had “done nothing wrong,” leaving fans stunned. He followed it with another short note addressed to supporters, saying, “I’m sorry for those who believed in us,” which further fueled breakup discussions across social media platforms.
The former couple, who once seemed inseparable and walked several red carpets together—including the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards—no longer follow each other on Instagram. Their sudden social media disconnect has added to ongoing rumors, despite neither offering a formal public statement on their status.
