Daniel Neeson, the 29-year-old son of Hollywood legend Liam Neeson and late actress Natasha Richardson, has officially announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Natalie Ackerman. Natalie, who works as a fashion marketing manager in New York, has been in a relationship with Daniel for over eight years.
The heartwarming announcement came through Daniel’s Instagram, where he shared photos of the proposal along with snapshots from their intimate engagement celebration. Captioning one of his Instagram Stories, Daniel wrote, “Life is beautiful,” capturing the emotional moment as he marked the beginning of a new chapter with Natalie.
The couple’s love story began at Tulane University in New Orleans, where they first met and have remained inseparable ever since. Their proposal celebration was held in Manhattan at an Irish pub, attended by close friends and loved ones.
Daniel, who lost his mother Natasha Richardson in 2009 at the age of 12, has often spoken about her influence in his life. On her death anniversary last year, he paid tribute by sharing heartfelt words about keeping her memory alive and even joked that she would be proud of his “margarita skills.” Natasha, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and sister of Joely Richardson, tragically passed away after a skiing accident in Quebec at the age of 45.
Meanwhile, Liam Neeson himself has been making headlines recently due to speculation surrounding his relationship with Pamela Anderson. The pair sparked romance rumors while promoting the Naked Gun reboot in New York and London. Although reports suggested it could be a publicity stunt, Pamela addressed the speculation during her speech at the Deauville American Film Festival, where she received the 2025 Talent Award. She stated, “I do not and will never feed into PR stunts. That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven.”
For now, the spotlight is firmly on Daniel and Natalie as they prepare for their wedding, marking a joyous moment for the Neeson family.
