Instead of a brief update, the BTS leader shared a long and sincere message on WeVerse, addressing the concerns that arose after he spoke honestly about the pressures the group has faced over the years. His mention that BTS had, at times, discussed the possibility of disbanding led to mixed reactions, with some fans understanding his honesty while others felt uneasy.
In his note, RM apologised right away, acknowledging how his words may have affected ARMY. He wrote that he didn’t anticipate such a strong reaction and expressed regret over going live while feeling frustrated. He also mentioned that he had been receiving countless worried messages, which made him reflect on how deeply his comments were interpreted by fans.
After addressing the tension, RM shifted to more relaxed updates. He shared that he is currently preparing for his driving test and recently completed all four practice routes without any mishaps. He also revealed that his days are filled with music-making, choreography practice and new creative work.
RM even gave a glimpse into his personal life, mentioning that he recently watched The Color of Pomegranates and that his home renovation is finally complete. After six months, he will be moving back and promised to show fans the finished space once everything is decorated.
