Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Unveiled at Unpacked 2025 With Exynos 2400 Chipset and 3.4-Inch Cover Screen

Date:

Samsung has officially introduced its first non-flagship foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, during its big Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event in New York. The new clamshell-style smartphone sits just below the premium Galaxy Z Flip 7 but brings many advanced features at a more accessible price point. Powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 processor, which also drives the Galaxy S24 series, the Z Flip 7 FE offers a compact 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover display alongside a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner screen that supports a smooth 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

This foldable device is designed for durability with its Armor Aluminium frame and comes with an IP48 rating for protection against dust and splashes. Users can choose between stylish Black and White finishes. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE starts at Rs. 89,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 95,999. Buyers who pre-order before July 12 can upgrade to the higher storage model at no extra cost, with official sales in India beginning on July 25.

Running on Samsung’s One UI 8 based on Android 16, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE also includes Galaxy AI tools such as Gemini Live, Now Brief, AI Select, and Circle-to-Search, plus enhancements to features like Photo Assist and Sketch-to-Image. It even supports Live Translate within third-party apps, Call Assist, Call Transcript, and Interpreter functions, making it highly user-friendly for daily tasks.

Photography is covered with a 50MP main camera offering 2x optical zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP selfie camera on the foldable inner screen. Samsung’s ProVisual Engine and Nightography deliver high-quality images even in low light, while Dual Preview makes capturing shots even more convenient.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE houses a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging, and for added security, all user data is safeguarded in the Samsung Knox Vault with its Personal Data Engine. With a refined design that measures just 6.9mm thick when unfolded, this stylish foldable is ready to make flexible smartphone use mainstream.
