Samsung has rolled out a new update for Samsung Wallet, introducing an innovative “Trips” feature designed to simplify travel planning for Galaxy smartphone users. The update aims to bring all travel-related information into a single, easy-to-manage interface.
The newly launched Trips feature allows users to view their entire itinerary through a unified timeline. From flight schedules and hotel reservations to car rentals and event tickets, everything can now be accessed in one place without switching between multiple apps or platforms.
Once travel details are added to Samsung Wallet, the Trips tool automatically organises them based on time and location, helping users stay on track throughout their journey. It also supports a wide range of bookings including flights hotels transportation tickets and even theme park or sports event passes.
Users can further personalise their plans by manually adding itinerary items and attaching notes or reminders for better organisation. This flexibility ensures that even custom travel arrangements can be managed efficiently within the app.
The feature is currently being introduced in select markets including South Korea the United States and the United Kingdom. It is available on compatible Galaxy smartphones running updated versions of Samsung Wallet.
With this addition Samsung strengthens its position in digital travel tools offering a more structured planning experience compared to Google Wallet, which primarily focuses on storing tickets and passes without a complete timeline view.
Security remains a key focus as the app is powered by Samsung Knox, ensuring user data is protected through advanced encryption and biometric authentication.
Samsung has also indicated that more enhancements and partnerships are expected in the future making the Wallet app an increasingly powerful tool for everyday digital and travel needs.
