Upcoming foldable smartphones from Samsung are generating buzz after dummy units of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the new Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold surfaced online, offering an early look at their expected design and features ahead of launch.
The leaked models suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 will continue with its book style folding design similar to its predecessor but with subtle refinements. One noticeable update is a vertically aligned triple camera module on the rear along with a slightly smaller front camera cutout which may indicate improvements in selfie camera technology.
Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 appears to retain its compact clamshell design featuring a horizontal dual camera setup maintaining a familiar look while potentially improving internal hardware and camera performance.
The newly rumoured Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold stands out with a wider display design expected to deliver a more tablet like experience. Early insights suggest it could feature a large foldable screen paired with a secondary cover display making it suitable for multitasking and media consumption.
All three devices are expected to support wireless charging as indicated by visible circular coil markings on the dummy units. In terms of wired charging the Fold 8 and Wide Fold models may include faster 45W charging capabilities while the Flip 8 could continue with 25W support similar to earlier versions.
The Wide Fold device is also rumored to adopt a 4 by 3 aspect ratio aiming to compete with future foldable devices from competitors including Apple which is reportedly exploring its own foldable smartphone.
The official unveiling of these devices is expected to take place at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event likely scheduled for July 2026. As anticipation builds these foldable smartphones are set to push the boundaries of design performance and usability in the premium mobile segment.
