Sony has introduced the second-generation Inzone H9 II wireless gaming headset in India, offering a significant upgrade in active noise cancellation, microphone performance, and comfort for long gaming sessions. Designed for console and PC players, the new model aims to deliver a premium audio experience with refined hardware and expanded connectivity options. The headset retains the detachable boom mic design, giving users the flexibility to switch between gaming chats and casual listening with ease.
The Sony Inzone H9 II arrives in India at a premium price point and will be available in sleek Black and White variants. Sales begin on November 22 through major online retailers including Amazon, Flipkart, and Sony’s official ShopAtSC platform. With updated drivers based on Sony’s flagship WH-1000XM6 technology, the headset promises a more immersive soundscape with precise spatial audio for competitive gaming.
The headset features a closed-back build paired with 30mm dynamic drivers that support 360 Spatial Sound, enhancing directional awareness in fast-paced gameplay. Sony has equipped the boom microphone with AI-powered noise reduction and super wideband voice technology, ensuring clearer communication during multiplayer matches. A physical mute control is also included for quick audio management during gameplay.
For connectivity, the Inzone H9 II combines a low-latency 2.4GHz USB-C transceiver with Bluetooth 5.3, enabling dual-device functionality, LE Audio support, and multiple Bluetooth profiles for seamless switching between devices. Sony also includes a detachable 2.0m audio cable for wired use. Battery performance is rated at up to 30 hours without ANC, alongside fast charging that delivers approximately one hour of usage in five minutes.
The retail package features essential accessories including a soft pouch, USB-C charging cable, dual-wireless transceiver, headphone cable, documentation, and a warranty card. Weighing around 260g without the microphone, the headset aims to cater to gamers who prioritise comfort, stability, and high-end sound performance during long sessions.
