Xiaomi has officially launched its latest budget smartphones in India with the arrival of the Redmi A7 4G and Redmi A7 Pro 4G. Both devices are now available for purchase across online and offline platforms, offering competitive features at affordable prices.
The Redmi A7 4G is priced at Rs 10999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the Redmi A7 Pro 4G comes at Rs 11999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB configuration. Discounts on the official website bring the effective prices slightly lower. Buyers can purchase these smartphones via major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and authorized retail stores.
In terms of design and display, both models feature smooth 120Hz HD+ screens. The Pro version sports a larger 6.9 inch display with higher brightness levels, while the standard model comes with a slightly smaller 6.88 inch screen. Both displays support wet touch functionality and eye protection certification for comfortable viewing.
Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM. Storage is set at 64GB on both models and can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The Pro model offers more RAM and better long term software support with Android 16 based HyperOS 3, while the standard variant runs Android 15 based HyperOS 2 with fewer update commitments.
For photography, both devices feature a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. Additional features include mono speakers enhanced audio output fingerprint sensors and essential connectivity options such as 4G LTE WiFi Bluetooth GPS and a USB Type C port.
