Known for her iconic role as Olivia Benson in Law & Order Special Victims Unit, Hargitay revealed that she has been invited to direct the show’s landmark 600th episode. Having portrayed the character for over two decades she described the opportunity as both surreal and meaningful highlighting her deep connection to the series.

The actress also spoke candidly about her documentary which explores the life of her late mother Jayne Mansfield. Through the filmmaking process she revisited personal memories and uncovered new perspectives about her mother’s life leading to a deeply emotional and healing experience.
