The upcoming Huawei Pura 90 series has reportedly had its key specifications leaked just before its official launch in China on April 20, 2026. The lineup is expected to include multiple variants such as the standard Pura 90 Pura 90 Pro and the premium Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max, each offering differences in design performance and camera capabilities.
According to recent leaks the base Huawei Pura 90 may feature a 6.84 inch flat display with 1.5K resolution paired with a large 6500mAh battery. The device is also expected to maintain a slim form factor measuring around 6.9mm in thickness and weighing approximately 203g making it relatively lightweight for its category.
The Huawei Pura 90 Pro is tipped to offer a slightly smaller 6.59 inch 1.5K display along with a 6000mAh battery. Compared to the standard version it may be thicker and heavier with an 8.3mm profile and a weight of about 219g.
At the top end the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max is expected to come with a larger 6.87 inch display maintaining the same resolution. It may include a similar 6000mAh battery while featuring a thicker body at 8.5mm and weighing around 232g.
Camera upgrades appear to be a major highlight for the Pro models. The Huawei Pura 90 Pro is rumored to include a 50MP main sensor alongside a 40MP ultra wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera along with a multispectral sensor for enhanced imaging. Meanwhile the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max could push boundaries further by introducing a powerful 200MP periscope telephoto lens designed for long range zoom photography.
Both Pro variants are expected to run on a new generation chipset possibly from the “9 series” lineup and may offer IP68 water and dust resistance along with 2D face recognition features.
With these expected upgrades the Huawei Pura 90 series aims to deliver improved performance advanced camera capabilities and premium design ahead of its official unveiling.
