Infinix GT 50 Pro Launch Confirmed Globally on April 24 With Gaming Features and Advanced Cooling

Date:

Infinix is preparing to introduce its next-generation gaming smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro, with a global debut scheduled for April 24, 2026. Positioned as the successor to the Infinix GT 30 Pro, the upcoming device is designed to deliver an enhanced gaming and multimedia experience.

The smartphone will feature a flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz, ensuring smooth visuals for gaming and everyday use. It is also expected to support 144 fps gameplay on selected titles, making it appealing to mobile gamers seeking performance and responsiveness.

One of the standout additions is the inclusion of pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons, branded as “Pressure-Sense GT Trigger”, located on the side of the device. These triggers aim to provide console-like controls for a more immersive gaming experience. Additionally, a dedicated ZoneTouch Master button will be included to improve usability and control.

For audio, the device will support Hi-Res sound output for both wired and wireless headphones along with Dolby Atmos technology, enhancing the overall entertainment experience. Thermal performance has also been prioritized, with the device featuring an advanced liquid cooling system visible through the rear panel, designed to reduce overheating and maintain consistent performance during intensive tasks.

In terms of design, the Infinix GT 50 Pro will come with a dual rear camera setup housed in a rectangular module, alongside an LED flash. The smartphone is expected to launch in multiple colour options, including silver and red variants.

Reports suggest the device may sport a 6.78-inch display and could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset. It is also likely to include 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. Camera specifications may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while the front camera could be a 13-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.

With a focus on gaming performance, cooling efficiency, and premium display technology, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-range gaming smartphone segment.
