Poco has officially introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Poco M8s 5G, in select global markets. The device brings a combination of powerful battery life, modern features, and competitive pricing, making it an attractive option in the mid-range segment. It will be available through the Xiaomi online store in multiple regions.
The Poco M8s 5G is priced starting at $189 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the higher-end 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is available for $219 under early promotional offers. The smartphone comes in two color options, Black and White, targeting users looking for both style and performance on a budget.
In terms of design and display, the device features a large 6.9-inch Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, ensuring smooth scrolling and enhanced viewing experiences. It runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, delivering updated software features and improved system performance.
Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, built on a 6nm architecture. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD, offering ample space and smooth multitasking capabilities.
For photography, the Poco M8s 5G includes a dual rear camera setup highlighted by a 50MP primary sensor, along with an additional secondary lens.
