Upcoming foldable smartphones from Motorola are generating buzz as fresh leaks reveal details about the anticipated Razr 2026 lineup. The series is expected to include multiple models such as the standard Razr 2026 and the more advanced Razr+ 2026, with a possible launch scheduled for May 21 2026 in select markets.
According to early reports, the base Motorola Razr 2026 could start at around 799 dollars while the premium Motorola Razr+ 2026 may be priced near 1099 dollars. Higher end variants like the Ultra and Fold editions are expected to come at significantly higher price points reflecting enhanced features and storage capacities.
In terms of performance the standard model is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset while the Razr+ version may feature a faster Snapdragon processor delivering improved speed and efficiency. Both devices are tipped to support LPDDR5X RAM and run on Android 16 with a custom user interface.
Display technology remains a key highlight with both models expected to feature a 6.9 inch AMOLED inner screen. The Razr 2026 may offer a 120Hz refresh rate while the Razr+ 2026 could push this further to a smoother 165Hz experience. Storage options may include UFS 3.1 for the base model and faster UFS 4.0 for the higher variant.
Camera setups on both devices are expected to include dual 50 megapixel rear sensors along with a 32 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Battery performance may vary slightly with the Razr 2026 housing a larger 4800mAh battery and the Razr+ 2026 offering a 4500mAh unit with faster wired charging support.
Connectivity features are expected to include USB Type C Bluetooth NFC and dual SIM compatibility with eSIM support. The Razr+ 2026 may also include Wi Fi 7 capability while the standard model could support Wi Fi 6. Both phones are likely to carry IP48 certification for dust and water resistance.
Design wise the foldable devices are expected to maintain their signature clamshell form factor with minor refinements rather than a complete redesign. Premium finishes and lightweight builds are also anticipated enhancing their appeal in the competitive foldable smartphone market.
