The upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is generating strong buzz ahead of its official debut in China, with new details confirming its battery capacity and performance-focused features. Positioned as a high-end gaming smartphone, the device is set to deliver enhanced power efficiency and smooth gameplay.
According to the company, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will pack a massive 8600mAh battery, paired with 120W wired fast charging support. This combination is expected to offer extended gaming sessions, with claims of up to seven hours of gameplay on a single charge. Fast charging capabilities are also impressive, with just 10 minutes of charging said to provide up to two hours of gaming time.
A key highlight is the inclusion of Oppo’s advanced “Energy Concentration” chip, designed to optimise battery performance. This technology is expected to enhance battery backup in both regular and extreme temperature conditions, while also improving long-term battery health and maintaining stable performance during intensive gaming sessions.
The device will also feature a high refresh rate display, supporting up to 165Hz, making it ideal for competitive gaming. Additional enhancements include a responsive touch system with high sampling rates and advanced Wi-Fi connectivity for smoother online gameplay.
Visually, the smartphone will be available in distinctive colour options and feature a modern design with unique lighting elements on the rear panel. The display is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution with vibrant colour reproduction, HDR support, and strong protection for durability.
On the hardware side, the phone will include a powerful antenna system to ensure stable connectivity, along with multiple layers of water and dust resistance. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers for an immersive user experience.
Running on the latest version of ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, the smartphone aims to deliver both performance and efficiency. The official launch is scheduled for April 28, where full details including pricing and availability will be announced.
